11:15 am Eucharist in the Nave & 12:30 pm Luncheon Graduating Seniors Recognition
We’ll give thanks in the service for the gifts and presence of our high school seniors and offer our prayers and best wishes as they graduate. The celebration continues after church with a luncheon for seniors, their families and leaders.
12:30 pm 42nd Street Fellowship Brunch
We head to New Orleans Bistro, 4907 Cordell Avenue, Bethesda, to “laissez les bon temps rouler.” Come for a taste of authentic Louisiana-style cooking. Meet in the Common after the 11:15 service to carpool. Contact: Joan Searby (301-229-4835).
6:00 pm End-of-Year Youth Ministry Celebration
Young people in grades 6-12, their leaders and the families of both are invited to mark the end of the program year with dinner and fellowship. Please RSVP by Monday, May 12, to Emily Gowdy Canady.

7:35 pm St. C’s Goes To The Ballpark
The Nationals play the San Francisco Giants and St. C’s is going to be there. Pattie Ames is selling tickets in the Common on Sunday morning. Tickets are $25 and transportation is on your own. This will be a fun way to kick off the St. Columba weekend! Any questions, contact Pattie Ames.

Mark your calendars now! We’ll celebrate our saint’s Celtic heritage at services, his love of books at a Bookfest to benefit the library, and our community with a parish BBQ picnic.

As part of Capital Pride week, St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church offers this special service to recognize and bless couples in the community living in committed and loving relationships, gay and straight.
