8:00 am – 8:45 am Eucharist in the Church
A simple eucharist with a homily and without music. Coffee follows.
8:00 am – 1:00 pm Sunday School Teacher Sign-up for 2008-09 in the Common
Classes for 3 years through 5th grade meet in classrooms on the first and second floors.
8:45 am – 12:30 pm Child Care in Room 120
Available for infants and children through preschool Sunday mornings and for special services and events.
9:00 am – 10:00 am Baptism and Eucharist in the Church
A full service with sermon, hymns and the healing rite. Children second grade and under go out for storytime and prayers during the sermon and return at the peace. The Boy Choir, Girl Choir and St. Columba Singers sing. Child care is available.
9:00 am – 10:00 am Recorder Consort in the Bell Room
The consort plays frequently in services and welcomes new recorder players (all voices).
9:15 am – 9:45 am Baptism and Eucharist for Preschool Children and Their Families in the Great Hall
The liturgy is simplified, the gospel told story-style and there are songs children can sing.
10:15 am – 11:05 am Sunday School in the First and Second Floor Classrooms
Preschool/Kindergarten classes learn about singing in church. Primary classes learn about Clare of Assisi and Julian of Norwich. Intermediate classes focus on the role of the Church in peace and justice issues.
10:15 am – 11:05 am Youth Sunday Morning Classes
Rite 13 meets in Rooms 203 and 220; J2A meets in Room 212; YAC meets in the Deming Library; Senior Class meets at Friendship Terrace by way of the Great Hall porch.
10:15 am – 11:05 am Adult Bible Study in the Church Office
Led by a layperson, this group discusses the Sunday lessons. All are welcome.
11:15 am – 12:15 pm Eucharist in the Church
Full liturgy with sermon, hymns and the healing rite. The St. Columba Singers and the Singers Ensemble sing. Child care is available.
11:15 am – 12:00 pm Eucharist for Preschool Children and Their Families in the Great Hall

12:15 pm – 1:30 pm 20s & 30s meet-up space in Room 220
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the number of people in the Common after the 11:15 service, bring your cup of coffee and doughnut and meet fellow parishioners in their 20s and 30s in a quieter atmosphere.
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm Gallery Choir in the Music Room
This high school choir sings occasionally at the 11:15 Sunday service.
12:45 pm – 2:00 pm Festival Ringers rehearse in the Bell Room
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Eucharist in the Church
This smaller service with a sermon and hymns offers another way to organize your weekend and still get to church. The style of worship and music varies from week to week.
