"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in."
The Rev. Amy Molina-Moore, associate rector for pastoral care, leads our pastoral care ministry.
The clergy at St. Columba's take turns being on-call in the case of pastoral emergencies. If someone is in the hospital or has an urgent need to see a priest, one of our clergy is available 24 hours a day at 202-363-4119 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The clergy are also available for pastoral conversation, spiritual direction and guidance. To make an appointment, you may call the church office at 202-363-4119 or send an e-mail to any of our clergy people through the staff directory.
Names of those who are sick or in any kind of need are placed on the parish prayer list and prayed for at Morning Prayer and on Sundays. The Prayer Chain continues this cycle of prayer at home, with parishioners offering individual prayers for those in need. Prayers of thanksgiving are also welcome. Submit your prayer request to email@example.com.
Visiting Eucharistic Ministers, as well as Stephen Ministers, assist the clergy in taking communion to parishioners who are unable to attend services at church. To request home communion, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
