Bookstore
St. Columba’s bookstore is located just off the Common next to the music wing. We have a small but fine selection of books on spirituality, prayer, healing, theology and religion, plus Bibles, hymnals and prayer books — and a wide variety of children’s books. We feature titles pertinent to the changing seasons of the church year and keep on hand books being read and discussed by various groups in the parish. Often you will find works authored by our forum or adult education speakers and related titles.
Two annual events sponsored by the bookstore are the Bookfest on St. Columba Day in June, which benefits our parish library, and the Reach Out program in Advent which provides many children in the inner city with a brand new book of their own. You’re welcome to browse as long as you like, and volunteers are especially needed to help staff the bookstore so that it may be open throughout Sunday morning each week.
