Quiet Days
Offered on the first Saturday in Advent and the first Saturday in Lent, Quiet Days offer an opportunity to enter more deeply into these important seasons in the church year. Framed by morning prayer at the day’s beginning and the eucharist at its end, they offer a series of meditations by one of St. Columba’s clergy or a guest speaker. Between services and meditations, there is silence in the building and the church. It’s a time to listen to your thoughts and reflections and to be alert to God’s voice in the silence. A simple lunch is provided for a free will offering.
