Special Needs Team
The Special Needs Team works to ensure that St. Columba’s is a welcoming place with a caring fellowship for all to form a loving commitment to Christ regardless of ability or disability. The group offers support to people with disabilities and their families, caregivers and friends. The Special Needs Coordinator works with families and the Children and Youth Directors on Individual Spiritual Formation Plans (ISFP’s) for those with various special needs. Certain information contained in these ISFP’s is shared with leaders to assist them in their ability to fully include all participants. The Coordinator is the liaison with all program heads, clergy and lay leaders to assist with raising awareness of disabilities issues.
