Primary Choir
Our beginning choir for grades one and two, this choir serves as a training group for our Boy Choir and Girl Choir. It is the first step into the organized choir system at St. Columba’s. Choristers gather for refreshments and a time to play before each weekly rehearsal. In addition to learning anthems and hymns and some of the special songs of the parish, part of each rehearsal is spent on rhythm, sight–singing, the hymnal, and church liturgy. The choir sings in church every six weeks and rehearses for an hour on Wednesdays during the school year.
