Help the Homeless Miniwalk and Walkathon
Help the Homeless Miniwalk
St. Columba's parishioners join to help the homeless and others in need by registering for, contributing to and walking in the parish miniwalk. Funds that are raised by registered walkers and other contributors, as well as additional funding from the Fannie Mae Foundation, go directly to St. Columba's outreach ministries including:
- The Haven
- Water Ministry
- Friends of Samaritan Ministry
- Rebuilding Together with Christmas in April
- Loaves and Fishes
- Friendship Terrace Sandwich Makers
Besides joining our miniwalk around the church, parishioners also have the option of joining the annual Help the Homeless Walkathon, held annually on the National Mall in November.
