Senior Ministries
A church community that boasts almost twice as many seniors as the total membership of the average Episcopal parish presents special opportunities. Strong ties with local organizations including IONA Senior Services, Episcopal Senior Ministries and Friendship Terrace Retirement Community have been forged. Communication is maintained through newsletter articles and a senior bulletin board, and efforts to make our building safer and more accessible are ongoing. Programs of interest to seniors and their families are presented regularly, and older members are active in every ministry of the church.
