Craig
graduated from Harvard in 1942 and completed studies at Virginia Theological
Seminary in 1944. After his ordination in 1945, he served as assistant
at All Saints, Chevy Chase and as priest-in-charge at St. Thomas in
White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia. In 1953, he began work on the
staff of St. Albans School as chaplain. After his
retirement from St. Albans in 1973, he served briefly as priest in
charge at St. Albans and All Souls, joining St. Columbas clergy
as assistant in 1974. Craig retired from St. Columbas in 1988,
though he continued to help out liturgically and with Sunday School,
parish musicals and pastoral work. In 1994, when St. Columbas
was between rectors, he served as priest in charge.
Retired but still hanging around, as he puts it, Craig
helps out liturgically and continues to bring his sense of mischief
and his deep love for God to children and seniors and everyone in between.
