Michelle Larsen
Communications Assistant
You may have noticed an unassuming figure in the shadows at services and parish activities taking photographs, only to find yourself in the next issue of the St. Columba’s Newsletter. Photographer is but one of the roles in which Michelle Larsen has served, in addition to maintaining the parish website* and handling the layout for most of St. Columba’s frequent publications, including the Sunday bulletin and the youth newsletter, The Source.
Michelle made her way to St. Columba’s in 1994, when she started going to Jim Donald’s youth bible study/pizza nights. It was only a matter of time before she fully embraced the youth activities available at St. Columba’s, joining the Gallery Choir and going on SCAP and other trips. Her fond memories brought her back after she got her BFA in Photography from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She began working at St. Columba’s in September 2003.
