Janice Thomas
Pastoral Care Coordinator
Janice Thomas is the Pastoral Care Coordinator at St. Columba’s. Her role was developed to assist the clergy and staff with the pastoral care needs of parishioners by assuring that each member who has a need will feel connected to their parish. Her working hours are 9 am–3 pm Monday through Friday, and she can be reached at 202-363-4119 Ext. 227.
Janice’s past work has been as a nurse in the Intensive Care Nursery and then as a Nurse Practitioner working as the pediatric and neonatal emergency transport coordinator for a hospital in Pensacola, FL. She has also worked as a Nurse Practitioner in a private pediatrics practice and in an inner-city school-based health clinic.
She is the wife of John Thomas who is an adjunct associate at St. Columba’s as well as the chaplain at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. She has two young children.
