Journey to Adulthood (J2A)
Grades 8 & 9
J2A is the second portion of the Journey to Adulthood program. Its focus is on continuing the community built in Rite 13 by developing active listening, negotiation, assertion, research and information management, partnership and leadership skills. Participants explore the Bible, society and faith to gain a better understanding of Christian living.
At the end of the second year of J2A, youth go on a holy pilgrimage. After this experience, as they plumb the depths of their own spirituality and their relationship to the church, the class moves on to YAC.
The J2A class meets on Sunday mornings during the academic year.
J2A PM
J2A PM meets meets two Sundays per month for fun, fellowship, service and learning on a wide variety of topics in the company of your fellow “J2As.” Additional fun activities are scheduled throughout the year, and have in the past included field trips to Six Flags, ski trips, movie nights and lock-ins.

Schedule: Sundays, 10:15 am–11:05 am
and twice a month for J2A PM, 12:30-2 pm
