St. Columba’s supports our young people in 6th through 12th grades with engaging programs, worship opportunities, service activities and a full-time Director of Youth Ministries. St. Columba’s is called to help form our young people as active and participating members of the Body of Christ, open to the world and confident of their vocation to make a difference in the name of Christ. In our Journey to Adulthood (J2A) program held on Sunday mornings, youth are encouraged to deepen their faith through engaging scripture, fun activities and small group discussions on topics current for today's youth. Our young people explore rich worship through liturgies specific to the changes they experience during their teenage years, and they are also active in service through summer youth outreach projects.
Our young people also participate in any number of fun youth activities through the year, such as the annual ski trip, monthly All Youth PM gatherings for youth in grades 6 through 12, and occasional diocesan events. Most importantly our young people are encouraged to be themselves. For more information on any and all youth activities at St. Columba's contact Jason Cox, our Associate Rector for Youth Ministries.
