Upcoming Events:

Weekday Walks
Thurs., Nov. 9
7-9 pm (open walk)
As your fall schedule fills up, consider “filling up” your soul with a peaceful 20 minutes on St. Columba’s labyrinth in the Great Hall. The canvas labyrinth is opened to all ages, faiths and abilities. Take home labyrinths and coloring are provided for children who prefer a different activity.

Saturdays Open Walk
Sat., Oct. 28
Sat., Nov. 18
10 am-12 noon
Steal away or bring the family to explore a new sacred path. A form of walking meditation, our canvas labyrinth is open to all ages, faiths and abilities. Handheld and take home labyrinths and coloring are provided for children who prefer a different activity. Guides are present to answer questions.

Advent Labyrinth Walk: Sat., Dec. 9, 10 am-1 pm
Advent is a time of remembrance and anticipation. All are welcome to set aside time to renew ourselves and open our hearts to welcome Jesus into our lives. Here are three ways to slow down, be quiet and “prepare a way for the Lord” this Advent:

9:30 am-12:30 pm
Labyrinth Walk, Great Hall. Remember and receive as you walk the sacred labyrinth path with music softly playing. Trace a hand-held labyrinth with your finger. Take-home labyrinths and coloring are provided for children who prefer a different activity. Come and go as you like, but please begin your walk by noon.

Make Advent Prayer Beads, The Common. Prayer beads give us something to touch and help us focus when we pray. Allow about 30 minutes to make your own prayer beads for Advent. Simple instructions and assistance will be provided. Children with adults are most welcome!

10:00-10:30 am
Guided Advent Meditation, Room 220. Suspend the stresses and busy-ness of the holiday season. Let yourself be led into peaceful breathing and calm.
