Pastoral Care Flower Delivery Team Welcomes You!
One of the loveliest customs at St. Columba’s is delivering the beautiful flowers that decorate our church on Sundays to those who are sick, grieving, celebrating a happy event or simply deserving thanks for a special service to the parish. The time commitment we ask for is to be able to deliver two arrangements on Mondays, once every six weeks. If interested, contact Judi Raak.
Join the Cupsters!
One Sunday a month for 2 hours, help provide clean ceramic coffee mugs for the coffee hour. Be part of keeping our parish green. Reduce the number of paper cups used each week. Currently, we have cut our purchases in half, but we need you to sustain this effort. Coordinator: Tom Bauder
Come Play! Piano players are needed occasionally to lead Sunday morning worship for the Great Hall children’s services. A strong musical background is needed for this highly valued ministry. Contact: Diane Heath
The Water Ministry at St. Columba's provides a warm and welcoming environment, the opportunity to take a shower or do laundry and a hot lunch for about 40 guests on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Volunteers are needed to serve once a week from 10:30 am-1:30 pm. Coordinator: Penny Ray
St C's Welcome Ministry is seeking greeters and ushers for the fall beginning with services on Sept 11. This is a once a month commitment. Greeters serve fifteen minutes before and fifteen minutes after the service you attend. Ushers serve once a month for one service.
If you can help for one service a month, please send us an email or stop by the Welcome Table. Contact the Welcome Team leaders, Harry Wood and Amy Howe.
