Children & Youth Choir

Primary Choir, our choir for children in Kindergarten through second grade, works on songs and anthems to share in church, but their main focus is on learning and enjoying music together. The choir gathers for playtime at 3:45 pm on the Nursery School playground, and then moves to the choir room for rehearsal and snack from
4 - 4:45 pm. Click here to Register.

Boy Choir and Girl Choir, for those in grades three through eight, is a wonderful place to sing and learn about music and the church. They lead the congregation at the 9 am service on Sunday mornings from September through early June, and sing for special services including Advent Lessons and Carols, Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday morning. The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings, 7 – 8 pm.

Sight Singing Classes are held in addition to their Wednesday evening rehearsals, and choir members are invited to participate in weekly instruction in singing, liturgy, music reading and theory. 

Chapel Choir is an advanced ensemble for interested fifth through eighth graders who are members of the Boy Choir and Girl Choir. They sing challenging repertoire of two- and three-part music and rehearse on Wednesday evenings, 8 – 8:30 pm.

Gallery Choir, our group for high school singers, has long been an important part of the church’s musical offerings. Gallery Choir sings at the 9 am service on Sundays and rehearses Wednesdays from 6:15 – 7 pm.

Genesis Ringers is our handbell choir for children and youth. Beginning ringers in grades three and four rehearse on Wednesday evenings 8 – 8:30 pm. Youth in grades five through eight, ringers in the Chapel Choir, or those with instrumental experience rehearse on Sundays, 11:15 – 11:45 am.
