Healing Rite

The laying on of hands for healing is offered in St. Aidan’s Chapel during the administration of communion on Sundays and at the eucharist on Thursday morning. You are welcome to receive the healing rite for yourself or in behalf of another. Simply come forward in turn, kneel if you can, and tell the healing minister if you have a specific need or person that you wish them to pray for. Whatever your reasons for coming forward, you are welcome. Be assured that all prayers are kept confidential, and if you want follow–up, you must initiate the discussion.

Schedule: In the regular service schedule (September through May) the healing rite is offered at 9 and 11:15 am services in St. Aidan's Chapel and by the baptismal font near the 42nd Street entrance, and at 5 pm by the candle tree.

During the summer, the healing rite is offered at the 10:30 am service in St. Aidan's Chapel and at the baptismal font by the 42nd Street entrance, and at the 5 pm service it is offered by the candle tree.
