We are a sacramental church. We believe that grace, God’s loving presence in our hearts and lives, occurs when we baptize, marry, celebrate the eucharist, perform the laying on of hands, confirm and bury our members. The Book of Common Prayer describes a sacrament as “an outward and visible sign of an inward and invisible grace,” a good description for the mystery that takes place in these rituals of the church.
