10:30 AM summer sunday eucharist The shift in rhythm that summer offers most of us is reflected in worship at St. Columbas. Set right in the middle of the morning, this service give those who regularly worship at 9 am a more leisurely preparation for church, and those who attend at 11:15 from September through May, a longer afternoon. Music is led by the Summer Singers, a choir consisting of those who come to the rehearsal that begins at 9:30 am in the Music Room before the service. Adults and children with some choral singing experience are invited to sing whenever they can. (Its a great way to sample singing in the choir.) The rest of the service is much like the Sunday Eucharist in the church at 9 am the rest of the year. There is a full sermon and the healing rite is offered during communion. Children ages 3 through second grade leave at the sermon to go to storytime, and return after the peace for the eucharistic prayer and communion. Child care is available. Schedule: Sundays, midJune to September, 10:3011:30 am,
