11:15 AM sunday eucharist in the church
This is our most formal service, but you can still expect surprises. Music is generally led by the St. Columba Singers and St. Columba Singers Ensemble. On occasion the service is built around a larger musical work such as Fauré’s Requiem or Rutter’s Gloria, but it’s just as likely to include jazz or gospel music. There is a full sermon, and the healing rite is offered. Younger children are not as easily accommodated in this service. Child care is available and a service for preschool children and their families takes place in the Great Hall at this hour as well.
