children's Christmas eve service
If spending 30 minutes with several hundred children under the age of eight sounds like your idea of a nightmare, consider other Christmas Eve services. But if you have small children or your own joy is kindled by being with children, this is a good option. We sing a few simple carols. The Primary Choir sings at both services. In an unrehearsed Christmas pageant, we tell the Christmas story, calling the children forward to the Bethlehem we create in the crossing. Children are invited to come in costume as shepherds, angels or animals.
