Way of the Cross
This service, which powerfully illustrates the journey Jesus took on Good Friday, adapts a custom observed by pilgrims in Jerusalem to our life at St. Columba’s. Just as people in Jerusalem travel to the places associated with Jesus’ passion and death, we move to four different places in the church. At each of these stations we hear a brief reading from scripture and a prayer, and we sing the trisagion, an ancient chant, and other songs, led by the Gallery Choir.
