Book Study Group: “Love is the Way: Holding on to Hope in Troubling Times”

In “Love is the Way, Presiding Bishop Michael Curry reflects on the power of God’s Way of Love for personal transformation and in driving the church’s mission to reshape our social landscape. He invites us to rediscover God’s love not as a mere sentiment” but as “an action with force and follow-through.” The book, written in 2019, traces the impact of the Way of Love in Bishop Curry’s life and the challenges arising from the 2016 election that led him and others to form the Reclaiming Jesus movement. Exploring it together, we can reflect on what it means to embody God’s love as individuals and as a community today.
This group will meet on the first and third Tuesdays.
