The COVID-19 pandemic has made the enormous challenges facing the United States, including racial injustice, health inequities, and deep gaps in economic opportunity, both more visible and more serious. As we continue to respond and work to recover, we must also confront the rapid acceleration of digital ways of working, shopping, and living that have become a bigger part of our lives over the past year. What does this rapid change mean for our economy–especially for those who may stand to be left behind, including women and people of color?
