Flentrop Organ Recital

St. Columba’s and the Potomac chapter of the American Guild of Organists invite you to join us for an organ recital on our landmark Flentrop organ, Saturday, November 13 at 4 pm. The program will feature organist Adam Detzner, a performer who has a special interest in the keyboard music of Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries and predecessors. In June of 2022, Adam will compete in the International Schnitger Organ Competition in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, as the only American admitted in this competition cycle. His hour-long recital here at St. Columba’s will feature selections from the competition repertoire list, including music of J. S. Bach, C. P. E. Bach, J. P. Sweelinck, and Heinrich Scheidemann. The recital is free, and open to the public. All are welcome to attend.
