Church and State: Resources for Discipleship

What resources are there for guidance and understanding when we think about how the Church interacts with the government? Join the Rev. Dr. Joshua Daniel as he gives a brief look back at some of the principles Jesus gives in the New Testament and considers how the church has adapted them throughout it’s history. We end with a conversation on how we might bear witness in our age, especially in light of this last election and the events on January 6th.
The Rev. Joshua Daniel, PhD, is the Associate Rector of Discipleship and Worship at St. Columba’s. Before coming to St. Columba’s Joshua wrote a dissertation in philosophy on religion, ethics, and art.
