Lets Talk About Race

Join Stirring the Waters on November 22, from 10:00 – 11:00 for “Let’s Talk About Race” A monthly conversation sponsored by the Stirring the Waters Ministry focusing on the role race plays in our lives, in our church and in our Nation.
This month we will watch a video from the series “ Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man” and discuss differences in points of view and understanding across the racial divide. As the host of the conversations Emmanuel Ancho says the way you can stand with me is to first educate yourself to know what you stand for and why. He believes that the only way we can solve these issues is through exposure, education, compassion, and empathy.
