Columba Crew

Join the children of St. Columba's as they embark on a year of adventure Living God's Love.  Sign up now to lead one of Columba Crews for kids grades 1-5. Zoom Sunday School and Zoom Vacation Bible School were led this past spring and summer by Katie and she eagerly invites you to share in the joy of fun, love and connection this program year.

Everything you need is provided! Teachers will be provided with all the lessons, students will have all the materials at home and several training sessions will help you guide our young St. Columbans during this turbulent year. Training sessions will be held to help you lead a class on Zoom and to share the details of the program so you are ready each week.  Register here!

Logistical Details

Columba Crews will meet on Sundays from 10:15-10:50am on zoom beginning September 13.  There will be 8-10 kids and two teachers in each crew.  Crews will consist of kids in the same grade or close grades like 1 and 2, and 3 and 4.  Please note, we will not be holding Sunday School for the 3s, 4s and Ks; instead we encourage them to attend the Wee Worship service on Sundays at 9:30am beginning September 13.

Training sessions

The first training will be held on August 26 and will be recorded in case you are unable to attend.  It will be led by parent and educator Dana Crepeau.  She will cover how to manage kids in Zoom (technology tools) as well as substantive ideas for fostering connection and conversation.

Who should sign up?

Anyone with a desire to connect with our children.  We especially encourage those of you who do not have children in the program to sign up. St. Columba's parents of young children need our care and support too and together we can take teaching Sunday School off of their to do list!  Register here!

Please contact Katie to learn more and make a commitment to St. Columba's children this year! There will be additional units beginning November 8; January 3; February 21 and April 11 for which we will need teachers, however, our current need is for this first unit.
