Worship is the heart of our life at St. Columba’s, and that life continues all summer long. We come together to be refreshed, to renew our connection to God, to one another and to the world around us.
We welcome people of all ages, offering music of diverse styles and preaching that seeks to bring the Gospel to life. All Sunday morning services in the summertime take place in the Church Nave. We invite you to come as you are and be sure to join us for fellowship in the Common after each service.
June 16 - Sept. 1, 2019
8 am in the Church Nave
Holy Eucharist with sermon and no music. Quiet and contemplative.
9:15 am in the Church Nave
This family-friendly service offers a rich worship experience for pre-school children and their families. There is lively singing, and the children gather in front of the altar as a story-teller shares the gospel and message geared for children. This service eases the transition for children making the shift from Great Hall worship to the Church Nave when they reach school-age in the fall.
10:30 am in the Church Nave
Eucharist with a summer vibe, featuring our summer singers and ringers. Come as you are!
Please join us for cold beverages, doughnuts and fellowship in the Common after each service.
Sunday Child Care
Children are welcome at all services. Child care is available for infants and children up to age 3 Sunday mornings from 10:15 am–11:30 am in Rm 322, on the third floor of the building (Albemarle Street wing).
Weekday Worship Services
Morning Prayer: 8:45 am, Monday – Friday
Start your day with Morning Prayer led each weekday morning by a lay leader. Appointed lectionary readings for the day, beautiful canticles and collects from the Book of Common Prayer, and a time of prayer for the world, the church and community.
