Children & Youth Choirs & Handbells

Primary Choir, our choir for children in Kindergarten through second grade, works on songs and anthems to share in church, but their main focus is on learning and enjoying music together. The group rehearses Wednesdays 4:00-4:45 pm.
Children's Choir, for those in grades three through six, is a wonderful place to sing and learn about music and the church. They lead the congregation at the 9:00 am service on Sunday mornings from September through early June and sing for special services including Advent Lessons and Carols, Christmas Eve, and Easter Sunday morning. The choir rehearses Wednesday evenings, 7 – 8 pm.
Sight Singing Classes for third through six grades are held in addition to the Wednesday evening rehearsals, and choir members are invited to participate in weekly instruction in singing, liturgy, music reading and theory.
Gallery Choir, our group for seventh through twelfth grade singers, has long been an important part of the church’s musical offerings. Gallery Choir sings at the 9 am service on Sundays and rehearses Wednesdays 7-8:15 pm.
Genesis Ringers is our handbell choir for children and youth. They ring at the 9 am service, and rehearse weekly in the bell room.
